Meet an Anglo-Saxon!

Our next monthly workshop for home educated children takes place on Friday 18th November. This time we’re exploring the people that lived in Folkestone between 1,000 and 1,500 years ago – the Anglo-Saxons! Learn about Anglo-Saxon life, their traditions and crafts, including cord making and produce a replica of our fabulous gold Kentish disc brooch!

Workshop’s are suitable for 4-12 year old’s;  younger ones can still come along but will need a hand. The workshop starts at 10.30am and finishes at 1.00pm. To cover materials and preparation costs a charge of £3.00 per child applies (under 4’s go free) and places must be booked in advance.
